Sr. Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) Analyst

Priwils Inc. is looking for an experienced Sr. Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) Analyst to join our team. The IT Asset Management Analyst is responsible for supporting the IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes for hardware and software assets which may include but is not limited to ordering, receiving stock maintenance, asset assignment, inventory control, MACD activities, asset imaging, and asset preparation for use, asset retention, asset reclamation, asset retirement and decommissioning, asset refurbishment, asset disposal, software agreement and license TOPR 08-04-21-IT management/metering/harvesting, vendor and contract reviews and discussions and all aspects of the hardware and software asset management as directed by IT management. 

 

The potential candidate must have a bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related field or an associate degree in a related field from an accredited college or university, and A minimum of 4 years of related IT experience or 8 years of job-related work experience (ITIL V3 Foundation Certification preferred).

Specialized Experience: Inventory management of software assets in a SAM tool or proven tracking process; Evaluating, developing, and documenting software processes and procedures; Coordinating and communicating with a variety of teams and stakeholders; Analytical skills are critical to this position. Should have experience with advanced Excel functionality and data manipulation. Extensive knowledge of scanning tools such as SCCM to extract and analyze software information; Reconciling software licenses against installed instances to measure and report on software license compliance; Should understand software licensing and how hardware configurations impact licensing. Advanced knowledge of Asset Management policies, procedures, and concepts. Leading projects to implement a process, system, and tool improvements; Communicate effectively in writing or orally with technical staff as well as non-technical staff at all levels (from top management within the organization to the end-user in the work environment); Experience managing software assets throughout the lifecycle in the Service Now Software Asset Management module. ITIL V3 Foundation Certification preferred.
